چکیده

Slurry-phase hydrocracking utilizing metal-containing oil-soluble compounds as precursors of dispersed catalysts is an effective approach for heavy oil upgrading. We propose applying metal-based p-tert-butylcalix[6]arene (TBC[6]s) organic species catalyst to enhance catalytic hydrogenation reactions involved in the upgrading vacuum gas (VGO). Co- and Ni-based TBC[6]s were synthesized characterized by SEM-EDX, ICP, XRD, FT-IR. The thermogravimetric calorimetric behaviors complexes, which are key properties catalysts, also explored. experimental evaluation show that TBC[6] improved reactions. A co-catalytic system was investigated adding a commercial, first-stage supported addition catalysts. naphtha yields increased from 10.7 wt.% 11.7 12 after it along with Ni-TBC[6] Co-TBC[6], respectively. Mixing resulted elevated liquid products due situ generation highly active Co–Ni bimetallic

NiO-PTA supported on ZIF-8 as a highly effective catalyst for hydrocracking of Jatropha oil

Nickel oxide (NiO) and phosphotungstic acid (PTA) supported on a ZIF-8 (NiO-PTA/ZIF-8) catalyst was first synthesized and it showed high activity and good selectivity for the hydrocracking of Jatropha oil. The catalyst was characterized by SEM, SEM-EDS, TEM, N2 adsorption, FT-IR, XRD and XPS. Compared with the NiO-PTA/Al2O3 catalyst, the selectivity of C15-C18 hydrocarbon increased over 36%, an...

Hydrocracking of Jatropha Oil over non-sulfided PTA-NiMo/ZSM-5 Catalyst

The PTA-NiMo/ZSM-5 catalyst impregnated with phosphotungstic acid (PTA) was designed for the transformation of Jatropha oil into benzene, toluene, and xylenes (BTX) aromatics. The produced catalyst was characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the temperature-programmed desorption of...

Novel Porous Iron Molybdate Catalysts for Synthesis of Dimethoxymethane from Methanol: Metal Organic Frameworks as Precursors

As a novel performance, methanol gas conversion to dimethoxymethane (DMM) in one-step based on Fe-Mo-O (iron molybdate mixed oxides) catalysts with high surface area fabricated by metal organic frameworks (MOFs) precursors was improved. For this approach, at first, Fe(III) precursors (iron (III) 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate (MIL-100 (Fe) and iron terephthalate (MOF-...
